EA has confirmed via Twitter that the next Madden NFL 12 roster update will "take place next week, prior to the Super Bowl".
In addition, there will also be a final Online Franchise roster update that is set to take place AFTER the Super Bowl, though the exact date was not announced.
As the NFL season wraps up, EA is starting to shift its focus on the future Madden NFL 13 title. However, it was recently announced that the annual Madden NFL halftime blog, which usually reveals new, upcoming features won't take place this year.
EA told fans they would start discussing Madden NFL 13 when they're "ready to talk features".
