Capcom announced today that a free title update for Resident Evil 6 will be made available sometime in mid-December 2012. The update will be for both Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, and will include changes in response to player feedback.
One of the changes include the ability to adjust the camera to give a greater field of view. This will help solve the problem of Chris Redfield's muscles taking up the majority of the screen. Screenshots of the new camera can be seen above, but Capcom does warn that this feature is still in development and could change without further notice before the title update is released.
Other changes include improved subtitle options so that English audio can be combined with subtitles in an alternative language. Ada Wong's campaign will be unlocked from the start and have an optional player-controlled co-op partner added. Previously you'd have to complete all three of the other campaigns to unlock Ada's story. Lastly, the "No Hope" difficulty will be added above the existing levels.
