Prior to Battlefield 1's release, the $50 Premium Pass detailed the first two expansion packs, one that would bring the French Army as a playable faction and another that would bring the Russian Empire into battle. At the time, it was detailed that the Premium Pass would be bringing a total of 16 new multiplayer maps, 20 new weapons, 14 unique dog tags and 14 Battlefield 1 Battlepacks containing "stand-out" weapon skins.
Besides the vague detail that the Russian Empire will be a faction in the future, we know that the first expansion, 'They Shall Not Pass,' is working towards a March release with the French Army faction, four maps, new vehicles, a new Elite Class, weapon, and a new game mode.
