After winning the Stanley Cup, Jonathan Toews and Patrick Kane will be the beneficiaries of yet another honor. The dynamic duo will be appearing together on the cover of EA's latest installment in their long running hockey franchise. OK, maybe that's not quite as big an honor as a world championship, but still cool for them none the less.
Both players have already been on the cover of an NHL game, coming in NHL 10 (Kane) and NHL 11 (Toews). However, this is the first time that the franchise has featured two players. This change appears to coincide with this year's theme, "play together, win together."
NHL 16 will release on September 15 in North America and September 17 in Europe for Playstation 4, Xbox One, Xbox 360 and Playstation 3.
