NHL 17 announced, vote for who you want on the cover

The latest installmentĀ if the NHL series has been announced by EA, and they are letting the fans vote for who they want to be on the front cover of the next NHL game.

It's not the biggest surprise that a new NHL game is coming, but EA has now officially announced a NHL 17. The game is in development for both the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 and the release date has yet to be announced. Though if we go by the previous games in the NHL series then it is safe to say that NHL 17 will come out sometime in September, like most of the other games in the series.

EA is letting the fans vote for who they want on the cover of the game in a three round vote. The first round ends on May 2. Round two is from May 3 to May 9. The third and final round is May 10 to May 16.

This round lets the fans choose between eight players.

  • Joe Pavelski, San Jose Sharks, vs. Anze Kopitar, LA King
  • Aleksander Barkov, Florida Panthers, vs. Jamie Benn, Dallas Stars
  • Connor McDavid, Edmonton Oilers, vs. Jakub Voracek, Philadelphia Flyers,
  • Vladimir Tarasenko, St. Louis Blues, vs. Victor Hedman, Tampa Bay Lightning

EA also released a trailer called "Vision" which talks about the vision they have for the game, though it is mostly a live-action trailer.
