EA has officially made the NHL 18 Beta available to Xbox One and PlayStation 4 owners after closed testing. The NHL 18 Beta will focus on the new Creative Attack controls, Defensive Skill Stick gameplay, the brand new Threes mode (3 vs 3), six-on-six online matches, and EA Sports Hockey League game modes.

The beta's Threes mode will be a 'light' version of the full mode, which includes a single-player campaign.
