Ni no Kuni to Be Stuff that Dreams Are Made Of

Conceived by two different teams of master storytellers, Studio Ghibli (Princess Mononoke, Spirited Away, Ponyo) and Level-5 (the Professor Layton series) the two companies have finally released two new promotional trailers for fans of their upcoming game Ni no Kuni to enjoy via Youtube.

The first spot says: “This winter’s ultimate fantasy, from a dream staff.”

The second one: “The game you’re all looking forward to, Ni no Kuni, is the first game to come with a book of magic. We’ve been receiving a rush of inquiries, so you should quickly pre-order.”

Level-5 will be focusing on the game at their upcoming Tokyo Game Show booth, with both the DS and PS3 versions available for demoing purposes. Although the game has not officially been announced for an American release, given the pedigree of the two studios, I wouldn’t be surprised to hear something soon from either Nintendo, Sony, or possibly even Disney Interactive.
