NieR: Automata has officially gone gold

NieR: Automata plays around with a lot of weird things in its many facets, but one thing it won't be messing with is its release date. Yes, despite its quirkiness, developer Platinum Games has held up their end of the bargain and will release the game on time on March 7th, 2017. Square Enix producer Yosuke Saito revealed the new through Twitter, noting that the game had actually been complete for some time now.

If you're interested, there's a demo of the game that you can try out now on PSN. The game will be getting a PS4 Pro patch as well as an exclusive PS4 model, the latter of which will be released only in Japan.
