NieR: Automata officially dropped last Friday for PC players. Unfortunately, the PC port appears to have a funky resolution upscaling issue when the game is played in Full-Screen mode, which several Steam users reported and leveraged as their Negative feedback on the game. While the PC port is far from unplayable, this issue is a tad annoying, but it seems a modder known asĀ Kaldaien has provided a solution.
Kaldaien posted a link and explanation of the fixes in a post on Steam, and subsequent user comments indicate that it works very well. To use the mod, all you have to do is download the file and replaceĀ the dxgi.ini file in your NieR: Automata folder.
NieR: Automata released to the world originally on PS4 back on March 7th and is one of the highest rated games to release in this stellar calendar year. Reviews for the PC port are scarce, but the main issue that is the most prominent is this one, so as far as what the game is, you can still get a pretty good idea from the PS4 reviews.
NieR: Automata is available now on both PS4 and PC.
