Nike partners with PlayStation to sell special Paul George shoes with LEDs

Those are some snazzy shoes.

There’s been all sorts of weird partnerships between video games and non-gaming companies for decades. Kellogs just partnered with Nintendo to make a limited edition Mario cereal with a special amiibo, Bethesda teamed up with Jones Soda to release a limited edition Nuka-Cola version of one of their sodas to promote Fallout 4, and now Nike is partnering with PlayStation (again) to bring us some pretty snazzy kicks.

Starting February 10th, shoe fanatics and dedicated gamers can grab these new shoes which are a cross between NBA star Paul George and PlayStation for $110 on the Nike store. They come with LED lights on the tongues of each shoe, the eyelets for the laces are colored with the PlayStation controller face buttons, and there’s other special details and features including a redeemable PSN code on the heel for an exclusive Paul George theme on PS4.

You can get an in-depth look at the fancy shoes in the video below.

It’s unclear how limited these will be but if you want them, set a notification through the Nike app on your phone and have your credit card ready to go on the 10th!

The PG2 “PlayStation” Colorways will drop on Saturday, February 10th for $110.
