Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 Plus impales its way to PS Vita on Feb. 26

The Vita is getting an updated port of Ninja Gaiden 2 on February 26, 2013 in North America. The aptly (and lengthily) titled Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 Plus will feature a new mode and different costumes for those sexy laydeh ninjas.

Players will be able to switch between Ryu Hayabusa, Ayane, Momiji, and Rachel on the fly. This will allow for the proper character to take action during sequences which he or she is more suitable for.

Hero Mode sees a return in Sigma 2 Plus, allowing players who want the game to go a bit easier on them to have a more forgiving experience. Additionally, Ninja Race mode is, well, a component where you race through levels as fast as possible.

If you're looking for some bloody hack-and-slash action on your Vita (or any action on your Vita for that matter), watch out for Sigma 2 Plus early next year.
