Nintendo bringing Wii U and 3DS to Sundance Film Festival

Nintendo will have a presence at Sundance Film Festival — and it has nothing to do with that crappy Mario movie from the 90s. Rather, Nintendo is hoping to filmgoers attending the festival in Park City, Utah will stop by their booth to check out some new and upcoming games.

The Nintendo "lounge", as it's being called, will host the latest Wii U and 3DS games that show off the wide variety of different play styles Nintendo's systems offer. Some of the games that will be present include recent releases like New Super Mario Bros. U, Nintendo Land and SiNG PARTY, as well as Wii Fit U, the first installment in the Wii Fit series on Wii U. ZombiU and the upcoming Rayman Legends from Ubisoft will also be playable. 

As for 3DS games, New Super Mario Bros. 2 and Professor Layton and the Miracle Mask will both be present, as well as the not-yet-released Brain Age: Concentration Training and Luigi’s Mansion: Dark Moon. Castlevania: Lords of Shadow – Mirror of Fate from KONAMI Digital Entertainment, Inc., will also be playable at the event. These games will all be playable on the new 3DS XL systems.

The Nintendo Lounge will open to the general public on Monday, January 21.
