Nintendo Direct: Star Fox Guard announced

Most Nintendo fans were anticipating news on the upcoming Star Fox Zero. And they got it, but there was one more surprise in store for Star Fox fans. Shigeru Miyamoto himself revealed the game formerly known as Project Guard to be a game called Star Fox Guard.

Star Fox Guard will star Grippy Toad, the uncle of Star Fox's Slippy Toad, and will task the player with defending a stronghold against waves of robots. Players will also be able to create and upload custom levels, as well as editing the rate at which the waves of robots attack.

Star Fox Guard looks like it will be a big hit for the Nintendo community when it launches alongside Star Fox Zero on  April 22, 2016
