Nintendo hosting Super Smash Bros. Nintendo Direct this weekend

Super Smash Bros. is getting one fighter richer on Sunday June 14th at 8am PT / 11am ET. Mother 3's Lucas will finally be making his release on the Wii U and 3DS versions of Super Smash Bros. That's not the only thing that's happening on Sunday morning — there's also going to a special Nintendo Direct.

Nintendo of America has revealed that a special Smash bros. presentation will occur the very same morning of Lucas' release. If you're on the West coast, you better be up at 7:40 AM PT in order for you to catch the presentaion, if you're on the East coast you can mosey your way to your computer at around 10:40 AM ET.

What is Nintendo showing off? Likely, they will be speaking on Lucas' release and announcing upcoming DLC for the game. The Nintendo site teases "New Content Approaching," this could either be in reference to Lucas or entirely new DLC. We will have to wait until Sunday morning to hear their official announcements, but there's always the hope that Ryu will be joining the game!
