Nintendo officially reveals The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess Wii U remaster

Over the past Month or so, it had been rumored that Nintendo's The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess would be getting a high-definition release on the Wii U. The rumors were spurned by and entry for the game found in the Nintendo eShop servers.

Well, it turns out that the rumors were true. Nintendo took to their first Nintendo Direct since Nintendo CEO Satoru Iwata passed away in July, to officially reveal The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess' high-definition remake.

The game simply won't be a prettier version of the GameCube and Wii's Twilight Princess, it has been reworked to be compatible with six different amiibo. A new Wolf-Link amiibo and five other amiibo from the Smash series (as seen below).

That's not all though, as of today Nintendo will be taking pre-orders for a Twilight Princess Bundle that includes the remastered game and the Link Wolf amiibo. The bundle is set to release on March 4, 2016.
