Nintendo partners with WWE Superstar John Cena for Nintendo Switch event

The Nintendo Switch launches in just over a week and to help market the console, Nintendo has enlisted the help of an unlikely partner. The man, the myth, the legend… his name is John Cena! Yes, John Cena will be at an official Nintendo event playing the highly anticipated portable/console hybrid.

Cena will be there to help demo 1-2-Switch, a party game that takes advantage of the system's motion controller features in the Joy-Con controllers. Cena will play a couple of different mini-games with invited guests including the cow milking game where you simulate milking a cow and a wild west duel where you face off against another player and must draw your Joy-Con controller the fastest to win.

The WWE Superstar will appear at one of three events that take place on a tour Nintendo is doing leading up to launch. The locations of each event will be unique to help demonstrate the fact that the Switch can be taken anywhere, anytime. The locations will be in the desert (this is where John Cena will be), on a snowy mountain ski resort in Aspen, Colorado, and Madison Square Park in New York! You can view the dates and specific locations down below, only invited guests will be allowed into select locations but it isn't clear how Nintendo will be selecting people.
