Sure, we've got Pokémon Shuffle already, but the first officially branded Nintendo mobile game is set to arrive this March.
Nintendo has maintained a March release window for its first mobile game, Miitomo — the first of five upcoming smartphone titles — but the company reaffirmed target date in a Japanese newspaper.
Speaking to Mainichi Shimbun, Nintendo president Tatsume Kimishima reaffirmed the March window, assuring there are no delays.
Miitomo will adopt a free-to-play model (or "free-to-start" as Nintendo likes to call it ), with successive entries being free-to-download. Though details regarding the game are a bit ambiguous currently, it seems to revolve around Nintendo's Miis, the friendly avatars that debuted with the Nintendo Wii.
Specific launch dates or mobile platforms weren't mentioned, but you can expect the game to at least be offered on iOS and Android.
