In recent years, Nintendo has shifted the focus of their E3 proceedings to be more inclusive of off-site audiences, and we're already seeing manifestations of this ahead of their main showing on Tuesday.
This morning, the company announced a new program called Nindies@Home, allowing those unable to be present at E3 to experience preview builds of upcoming games. The handful of titles — nine in all — are as follows:
- Typoman by Headup Games
- Runbow by 13AM Games
- forma.8 by MixedBag
- Freedom Planet by GalaxyTrail
- Soul Axiom by Wales Interactive
- Lovely Planet by tinyBuild Games
- Extreme Exorcism by Ripstone
- RIVE by Two Tribes
- Mutant Mudds Super Challenge by Renegade Kid
The demos will be available for a full week until June 22, and as an added incentive to download, you'll net a 15% discount off the final version for the first month of its release.
I plan on going interstellar, as the two planets are calling my name.
