Nintendo removing ‘bug’ that allows same-sex relationships in 3DS game

Who knew gay marriage could be cured with a simple bux fix. At least, that's how Nintendo addresses it, as the company is patching a "bug" in Tomodachi Collection: New Life that allows male characters to date, marry, and raise children with one another. In the latest patch notes for the update — right alongside the problems with booting up and saving — is a note of "human relationships that become strange."

Oh. Dear. God.

You'd think for a life simulator, Nintendo would embrace the idea of homosexuality. Although, it was a bit odd to see a male character pregnant. Alas, the company seems to think it wiser to just flat out remove the option.
