Nintendo’s Jigglypuff, Greninja, and Ness amiibo are exclusive to certain retailers

How hard will it be to find these amiibo?

On May 29th the fourth wave of amiibos are set to be released into the wild. As we well know, amiibo are hard to come by in the United States (they are even hard to find in Japan too), so it's good to know where you can grab your amiibo when they release.

Wave 4 consists of Wario, Pac-Man, Charizard, Lucina, Robin, Jigglypuff, Greninja and Ness (all set to release on May 29th). However, they won't all be available at the same place: Wario, Pac-man, Charizard, Lucina and Robin will be available at any Amiibo retailer, while Jigglypuff, Greninja and Ness are exclusive to different retailers.

If you're looking to plan ahead, we've got the details on where to get the Amiibos and when:

Jigglypuff

  • Store: Target
  • Pre-order: The pre-order page is live, but is not active — check back through out the day.

Greninja

  • Store: Toys 'R' Us
  • Pre-order: April 3rd (check at midnight eastern time on April 2nd).

Ness

  • Store: GameStop
  • Pre-oder: April 2nd at 2PM CT (online and in-store).

If you can't find the Amiibos you want when they release, you can always check out flying to Europe. Apparently, the Amiibo gather in hordes there.
