Nintendo Switch: Bethesda confirms Skyrim with new footage

Ever since it was shown in the reveal video for the Nintendo Switch, Elder Scrolls Skyrim has been rumored to appear on the console. Live at tonight's event, Pete Hines from Bethesda took to the screen and confirmed that Skyrim wll in fact be playable on the Switch.

Hines revealed a brand new trailer narrated by himself, in which new gameplay from the Switch was displayed. No release date was revealed yet, but it will not be a launch title for now. For now, the Nintendo Switch will release March 3rd, and Bethesda is one of over 50 third party developers working on the console. In total, over 80 games are in active development by third party development.
