Rayman Legends Definitive Edition is, well, the upcoming definitive edition of Rayman Legends on Nintendo Switch. Previously, Rayman Legends was on multiple platforms including the Wii U. It was received very well and is regarded by many as the best Rayman title yet. If you haven't played it, or want to see what it plays like on the Switch, the demo was just released.
The demo supports co-op and solo play and even allows players to try out Kung Foot mode, which is a mix of soccer and smacking each other senseless. It can be played with four-player online co-op or local wireless multiplayer.
The full game arrives in September as a Switch exclusive and it takes advantage of the Switch's touchscreen for certain things, similar to the Wii U's implementation.
According to Rayman creator Michel Ancel, the move to Switch was good for Rayman, stating, "Rayman Legends is like a board game. It means playing with your friends in the same room, and this console is perfect for that. It's the concept of console we've been waiting for a long time: An HD console, powerful, portable."
Rayman Legends Definitive Edition launches September 12 and will be available for $40 on Nintendo Switch.
