Nintendo Switch eShop Now Lets You Store Credit Card Info

No more digging for your wallet every time you want a game.

Nintendo Switch launched in early March. A number of features were not yet implemented. In fact, we've yet to see things like YouTube, Netflix, and other popular apps on other consoles (including Wii U) make their way to the Switch.

But recently, Nintendo has made it possible for users to save their credit card information on their account. No more having to enter your information every time you want to buy something from the eShop.

Discovered by Nintendo Everything, the option to store these details appear when buying from the eShop. It can then be seen on your account information page.

If security is a concern, you also have the option to require or disable password entry upon purchase of something with the card on file. No accidental purchases or someone else going on a shopping spree happening here.

This new feature appeared unceremoniously, without an update. In fact, the support site still says you cannot store credit card info. Strangely, this feature snuck its way onto the eShop, although fans would most likely appreciate the addition.

According to GameSpot, this feature is confirmed to work on Australian, Japanese and US accounts so far.
