Nintendo Switch: Mario Kart 8 Deluxe announced for April release

For some reason, Nintendo chose not to show the Mario Kart 8 Deluxe trailer during their presentation, but instead posted it online afterwards.

The game will not be a launch title on March 3rd, but instead launching on April 28th. It will include a number of new characters, including those from Splatoon and a Splatoon based map. There will also be new vehicle types such as quads, moto-cross bikes and motorcycles. All of the maps have received upgraded graphics, which you can see in the trailer above.
