Nintendo Switch: Retailer lists release date and price

It looks like the internet is deciding on a price for the Nintendo Switch before Nintendo even has the chance to reveal it. An online retailer has listed the Nintendo Switch for pre-order, along with a price that matches previously listed prices and a release date that had been making its way around the rumor mill.

GameSeek has listed the Switch for pre-order at £198.50 or $245.88 USD. This price falls in line with listings from the UK-based GAME store and Canadian Toys R US that said the console would be priced anywhere from $249 – $299, depending on which bundle is purchased.

In addition to the price, the GameSeek listing calls for a March 17th release date. It's unclear whether the Switch will release on that date, though, as it has been suggested that there may be a delay in its future.

The Switch has been the focus of a number of rumors lately, even one suggesting that the first true Pokemon game will be featured on the console and it will be called Pokemon Stars. It was also rumored that Mario Kart 8 would be heading to the new Nintendo console.

Rumors aside, LEGO City and Skyrim are currently planned for the Switch.
