Nintendo Switch Servers Maintenance Incoming, Here’s What’s Going On

Ah, server maintenance. A never welcome, but absolutely crucial feature to keep fun-having running smooth. Nintendo's servers will be down for a short period on two different days as they apply new changes to their servers.

Applying to the Nintendo Switch, Wii U and 3DS, Nintendo has mentioned two separate rounds of maintenance on Monday, April 17 at 5 PM PT and April 19 from 6:45 PM PT to 8 pm.

The maintenance will impact network services like online play and rankings. The first bout only affects the Switch, while the second one affects the Switch as well as the Wii U and 3DS.

No details have been given on the contents of the server maintenance, as it may just be stability, but if there are any significant additions, GameZone will report on it.
