Nintendo Switch third party accessories have been revealed

The Nintendo Switch is perhaps the most sought after video game product this year and unfortunately, details have been pretty light so far. Today, we have some new information on third party accessories from developer Snakebyte.

Launching this Spring, there will be a few new items you'll want to pick up to go along with your Nintendo Switch console. The first one will be the foldable headset, which will allow for easy and compact travel carrying for the on the go gaming the Nintendo Switch is built around. It will include 40mm drivers for "crisp, clear audio" according to Snakebyte.

Of course, everyone needs the essentials as well. So, Snakebyte came up with the Switch Starter Kit. This will feature all the essential accessories a gamer could ask for. The Starter Kit features a Carry Bag, Stereo Earbuds, Cleaning Cloth, Screen Protector, Control Caps and Game Cases to allow for an enhanced gaming experience and protection for the tablet screen and games. Snakebyte CEO Nick Repenning was excited about the new line of merchandise as well

“We expect our range of Switch accessories to be high quality and thoughtfully designed, ideal for a day one purchase alongside new console sales. We believe that the new products announced today will allow us to continue growing market share in our gaming hardware business and look forward to sharing further details soon.”

The accessories are on display at CES 2017 now, but unfortunately, that's all the information that was revealed so far. No prices were mentioned, and only a "Spring 2017" window was mentioned. With Nintendo revealing the Switch's release date and launch lineup of games next week at their event in New York City January 12th, hopefully, we'll hear more on these accessories. For now, The Switch will launch this March worldwide.
