Nintendo Switch: Ultimate Street Fighter 2 confirmed by Capcom

Nintendo confirmed some nostalgia returning to their franchise when the Switch launches in March, as Capcom will be bringing Ultra Stree Fighter 2 to the console.

Utilizing the system’s unique Joy-Con controllers, players can challenge each other in Arcade Mode, or team-up to both fight against the CPU at the same time.

Nintendo Switch TV, Tabletop, and Handheld modes allow you to play Ultra Street Fighter II at home or on-the-go with brand new single-player and multiplayer modes. More information and details on these modes, along with confirmed pricing and release timing, will be shared at a later date. You will also be able to choose between classic pixel-art graphics for a retro nostalgia trip, or enjoy HD graphics created by UDON Entertainment.

Yoshinori Ono, Executive Producer of the Street Fighter series, will be making an appearance on Nintendo’s Treehouse Live on January 13th to showcase Ultra Street Fighter II. Watch it live on Nintendo’s Twitch or YouTube Channel..
