Nintendo Switch Update 2.1.0 Brings System Stability Improvements

The Nintendo Switch launched earlier this month and has since then had some wrinkles ironed out in the way of updates. This latest update 2.1.0 offers stability improvements.

This update may not sound sexy, but you'll be grateful when the system performs better. Here's a list of updates below:

Latest version: 2.1.0 (Distributed 3/27/2017)

Performing the System Update: In most situations, the Nintendo Switch will automatically download the most recent system update while it is connected online. You can verify your current menu version and manually start the update if necessary.

Improvements Included in Version 2.1.0

  • General system stability improvements to enhance the user’s experience

The Nintendo Switch has been selling amazingly well, suffering from shortages in many retailers across the states. GameStop predicts these shortages will continue throughout 2017, which is bad news for gamers without the console, but good news for the success of the console itself.

Reggie Fils-Aime is anticipating a big E3 for Nintendo this year.
