Nintendo Switch will be back in stock this Friday at Toys R Us in limited quantities

It appears as though Toys R Us is gearing up to get more Nintendo Switch consoles this Friday! Unfortunately, we won't be seeing a large amount of Nintendo Switch consoles, but a "limited" amount – which means if you're not there early, you probably won't be getting a Switch.

“All Toys R Us stores nationwide will have a limited inventory of the super-hot console” on Friday, according to the spokesperson's statement to Polygon. "Much like our previous Nintendo Switch inventory drops, we recommend that customers get in line before doors open on Friday morning for a chance to purchase,” suggested the spokesperson.

The Nintendo Switch has seen some pretty high demand. Earlier this month, it was reported that Nintendo had altered their method of transportation for the Switch because the couldn't keep up with demand. Typically, Nintendo ships their platforms by cargo ship, a more cost effective form of transportation. The Switch, however, has faced such high demand in its first few months that Nintendo had to Switch to airplanes just to get the Switch out there.
