Nintendo unveils two new Wii bundles: Just Dance 4 and Skylanders Giants

Although the Wii U's release is right around the corner (November 18, 2012), Nintendo isn't yet ready to give up on its older Wii system. Nintendo today unveiled two brand new Wii bundles with two new options to choose from: one bundle with Just Dance 4 and the other with Skylanders Giants. Both will be available on November 4, 2012, just in time for the holiday rush.

The Just Dance bundle will be available for $129.99 and includes a white Wii Remote Plus controller and a copy of Just Dance 4. The Skylanders bundle retails for $149.99 and includes a copy of Skylanders Giants along with a blue Wii console and matching controllers plus a Portal of Power and exclusive Giant Skylander.

“These bundles give consumers a way to enjoy some of the hottest new games for this generation’s most popular console at an attractive price,” said Nintendo vice president of licensing Steve Singer. “Together with our third-party publishing partners, we’re delivering maximum value for families who want to get the most for their home entertainment dollar.”

In the latest financial report for Nintendo, the company estimated that 5 million Wii's would be sold by the end of the fiscal year 2013, ending March 31, 2013. These latest bundles might convince some consumers who aren't yet ready to dive into the Wii U to purchase a Wii. Despite the new bundles, Nintendo still expects to sell 5.5 million Wii U's by March 31, 2013.
