Nintendo will bring orange and white and Pokemon themed New 2DS XL to the US

During the Nintendo Direct yesterday, Nintendo took the wraps off a new, New 2DS XL with a white and orange color scheme. While there's nothing physically different than the already released blue and black model, the new white and orange does look rather striking. Plus, if you like to eat Cheetos while gaming, your orange fingers will simply add to the aesthetics of the device's color theme.

While "Creamsicle" 2DS is already available in Australia and New Zealand, it won't be available here in the US until October 6. It will cost $150 just like the blue and black model.

If the orange and white theme isn't your bag, perhaps the limited edition "Pokeball" version might whet your appetite. To commemorate the launch of Pokemon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon (Nov. 17th), Nintendo is putting out a Pokeball 2DS XL, also for just $150. However, this limited model will come out just shy of a month later on November 3rd.

Between the New iPhone X, Pokemon Themed 2DS XL and Thor: Ragnarok, that's going to be a busy and expensive Friday.
