According to a number of trademarks that have popped up in relation to the 3DS in Japan, Nintendo is currently designing a few new games to take advantage of the new “tag mode” on the upcoming handheld. CrossPass, CrossPass Mode, CrossPass Network, and CrossPAss Connection appear to take advantage of the ‘always-on’ networking feature. Which to those who remember their E3 presentation is something that allows players to exchange data even when their systems are off or aif they’re plaing a different game.
Other trademarks include 3D Paddleball, 3D Challenge, 3D Hopper and Target Shooting.
