Nintendo Trademarks Super Mario Anniversary Logo

As if some of us didn’t feel old enough already, Mario is ready to remind you how truly old you are. Mario is 25 years old this year.

Nintendo has filed a trademark a Super Mario Anniversary logo. It looks a lot like the one used a while back when Mario was celebrating his 20th birthday. Though nothing has been officially announced yet, you can be sure that Nintendo has plans to use this somewhere. Whether it’s on a special edition handheld or game, or some other piece of Nintendo memorabilia.

Nintendo is also said to be re-releasing Super Mario All-Stars in Japan, perhaps something of the sort will make it stateside as well.
