Nioh Gets it’s Final DLC, Bloodshed’s End In September

"Fight your way through enemy-filled floors of The Abyss"

Nioh makes its way towards its third and final DLC called Bloodshed's End. The last DLC, Defiant Honor, released in July, went off smoothly in Osaka Castle. The next installment draws the Sengoku period to a close.

It begins where Defiant Honor left off. The Siege of Osaka was ended peacefully, but the castle lost its second and third enclosures, leaving just the inner sanctum. This leads to an uprising just months after the previous encounter.

The DLC obviously adds additional main missions, but there are many more sub missions and Twilight missions. A unique addition, however, is a new mode called The Abyss. The Abyss is an arena mode where you can test your skills in a never-ending battleground. There are more details to be announced on this mode as launch approaches, but suffice it to say, there's likely more to it than just an endless wave of enemies.

The story consists of new Yokai, new characters, and a new difficulty level. New Guardian Spirits will also make an appearance.

Nioh's Bloodshed's End will release on September 26 on PlayStation 4.
