Nioh’s upcoming free and paid DLC detailed; New missions, PvP and more

It looks like Nioh owners got an update on what type of free content they can expect from the developers, as well as what the paid DLC will bring. Koei Tecmo detailed the upcoming content during a livestream. According to the developers, both March and April will see new content get added to the game, with April seeing free DLC and paid DLC.

The free updates will include the following:

  • Late March:
    • High-difficulty missions added. There are 10 types of missions, including missions with the feel of boss rushes.
  • Late April:
    •  PvP implemented.

In April, we will see the first paid DLC for the game, 'Dragon of Tohoku,' the DLC will add the following:

  • New weapon types
  • New scenarios
  • New characters
  • New guardian spirits
  • New yokai
  • New stages

Following 'Dragon of Tohoku,' we will see two more DLC packs, the second will be titled 'Japan’s Best Soldier,' and the third, 'Peaceful and Tranquil.'
