NIS America confirms 3 new RPGs for North America

Publisher/developer NIS America (also known as Nippon Ichi Software) has announced three new role-playing games, all headed to the PlayStation 3 this year.

The first is Disgaea Dimension 2: A Brighter Darkness, a sequel to the very first Disgaea game, according to Game Informer. It brings back popular characters Laharl, Etna, and Flonne. NIS America said that the character creation system offers the most customization seen in the series so far. The game is due out this fall, with downloadable content planned post-release.

The Guided Fate Paradox is a spiritual successor to Z.H.P. Unlosing Ranger Vs. Darkdeath Evilman, a tactical role-playing roguelike that came out for the PSP in 2010. Players control Renya Kagurazaka, a lucky high school student who acquires god-like powers and must fulfill people's wishes and desires. The game is arriving this fall and features the work of manga artist Noizi.

The third release is Time and Eternity, a hand-drawn RPG where you travel back in time to prevent a murderer from killing you at your own wedding. It's scheduled for this summer, and DLC will follow.
