With Fable Legends barely even out Lionhead Studios' doors, fans have already begun asking about when Fable 4 will make its release. The thing is, Lionhead isn't even working on that right now — they are entirely focused on Fable Legends right now.
Responding to a fan on Twitter, Lionhead Studios stated, "We're not working on a Fable 4, #FableLegends is our priority and will be for the foreseeable future. Thanks!" When Lionhead says the "foreseeable future" they don't simply mean the next year or so, they mean a decade.
If the game does well, the developers have planned to bring a "constant stream" of DLC for up to 10 years.
As for the game being their "priority" for now – they mean it. The previously Xbox One exclusive game is headed to the PC and as the developers have said, it won't be a "ghetto PC port." The game is being rebuilt for the PC to offer the best experience possible. PC players should note that the game isn't coming to all PC's — only the one's with Windows 10 installed and running.
