‘No Guy’s Sky’ is DOOM modded to be No Man’s Sky and yes, it’s amazing

Even if it was the best selling PS4 game in August, No Man's Sky isn't having a good time right now, the player count dropped below 1,000 people on Steam this week. The dip could have come from players finding the game a tad bit boring or because everyone decided to play No Guy's Sky.

YouTuber and modder Robert Prest has spent the last three weeks replicating No Man's Sky in DOOM and he finally did it.

No Guy's Sky lets you do everything you could do in No Man's Sky – except in DOOM; find planets, name planets and even meet aliens. Each alien is generated with DOOM legs and different heads and you can interact with them… which basically means running the risk of upsetting them and having to run away before dying.

What would No Guy's Sky be without space stations, though? Don't worry, the mod has space stations filled with vending machines for you to buy resources, sell resources or even look at new ships. Oh and yeah, there's a center of the universe and it's probably better than the one in No Man's Sky.
