I woke up this morning, ate a bowl of Honey Nut Cheerios, and got ready for action. Today is The Last Story Day, right? I mean, not officially, of course, but to those of us who have been waiting for Mistwalker's epic JRPG, that unofficial holiday is legit!
At first I thought it was weird that a Nintendo exclusive didn't launch on a Sunday, but I was, like, "Meh, maybe they're launching the game on a Sunday like normal people." So I headed over to my local GameStop store about five minutes away, and what did I find? Well, let me tell you what I didn't find: The Last Story.
The GameStop dude, who was very nice and friendly, told me that the game actually launched tomorrow. What gives? Nintendo, you sure are weird. I like ya, but your game launching strategies leave me befuddled all too often. Seriously, I still haven't gotten over the Kirby Mass Attack and Kirby's Return to Dream Land ordeals!
So yeah, if you haven't gotten your copy of The Last Story yet, I would suggest calling your local games retailer before you drive, walk, ride a bike, take the bus, take a cab, get a ride, or take your tame bear over there.
No sign of The Last Story on The Last Story Day? I am not impressed!
