Shortly after Hello Games completed development on No Man's Sky, the team began development on the day one patch. When the developers first announced the update, they didn't offer much detail on what the update would contain, but it appears as though Hello Games is ready to share some information on it.
A tweet from the Hello Games founder, Sean Murray, revealed that the team had wrapped up work on the games first update and that it would be bringing new features, balances and content to the game.

The news that Hello Games will be bringing new features, balances and content to the game should be good news for anyone that was worried about the state of the game. A leaker recently reviewed their experience in No Man's Sky, which included several bugs and suggestions. Hopefully, the developers took some of the feedback from the community members that have gotten their hands on leaked copies of the game and applied it in the update.
This update might make the gameplay videos and reviews of leaked versions of No Man's Sky null.
