On Friday, August 12th, PC players were given the opportunity to jump in on the No Man's Sky action, unfortunately, it wasn't without issue. PC players were met with a number of issues at launch, namely game crashes, lag and FPS crashes.
Hello Games have been hard at work on a fix for the game, they've been looking for feedback and incorporating workarounds.
Most recently, the team released an 'experimental' patch to resolve some of the reported issues. The patch can be downloaded by anyone that is desperate for a fix, but Hello Games advises for players to attempt the workarounds before downloading the patch.
To access the patch right-click on the game from the library page and select "Properties," among the available tabs will be the "BETAS" tab.
The code for the beta is 3xperimental
If you encounter issues with the patch Hello Games asks that you mail support@hellogames.co.uk and include [EXPERIMENTAL] in the subject.
