Whether or not Sony will be sending out review copies of No Man's Sky, one internet user has offered a review of his experience in No Man's Sky and yes – it is a bit spoilery.
Daymeeuhn, the fellow that purchased the leaked copy of No Man's Sky, has released a new video of the game, this time offering a review of his experience with the game. While the video serves as a review of the game (and another look at in-game footage), Daymeeuhn intends on clearing the air on rumors and misconceptions.
"I feel like people are getting the wrong impression," said Daymeeuhn. "As if I'm trying to derail the hype train and I'm not. I'm not in any way trying to derail the hype train. I just want to make sure people understand what they are getting involved in."
One of the rumors that Daymeeuhn was looking to dispel was that he used a cheat or exploit to reach the center of the universe. It turns out he made it to the center of the universe by using the items he found in space stations and crafting the right materials.
It should be noted that his review is based off the game prior to the day one update.
According to Daymeeuhn, the game is was Hello Games promised us. However, he notes that people got ahead of themselves with expectations. (At around 20 minutes you see the fish bug).
A Review of NMS with some reveals and footage by daymeeuhn
Daymeeuhn notes that your suit has more storage space than your ship and the that the game might not necessarily be some people expected. It isn't a space shooter, a game with fleshed out trading, but a game about space exploration and at its core – it is simply that and it succeeds at that.
In the end, Daymeeuhn enjoyed his experience in No Man's Sky, regardless of bugs and expectations. He got the game he wanted.
