No Man’s Sky releases on PC; 4K resolution, control remapping and more

No Man's Sky released on PC today, and it comes with some nice settings options. Players can make resolution changes (up to 4K), disable V-Sync, anti-aliasing, filtering, texture, and shadow qualities etc. The usual settings you expect for every PC release not handled by morons.

However, a few options really stand out for this No Man's Sky in particular: Players can finally disable the HUD, which appears to be true for the ship. That's great because the ship HUD is fairly obstructive to players' views on PS4. Even better though, buttons can be remapped, allowing players to fix some mindbogglingly stupid layout decisions. Seriously, who the hell puts the sprint toggle on the right stick?

Nobody on PC.

Did you wait for the PC release, or did you jump in with the PS4? If you've double-dipped, let us know how big an impact these changes have made for you in the comments section below.
