There was quite a bit of back and forth on No Man's Sky when it first released. There were claims of false advertisement and bugs that lead to quite a few players either refunding the game or simply quitting it. There was name calling and plenty of unfounded rumors, but one thing is for sure: No Man's Sky sold well.
How well? Well, we don't have the exact numbers, but we do know it was the top selling game for the PlayStation 4, followed by Madden NFL 17 and Battlefield 4. When it comes to the PS3, the top three games were Battlefield 4, The Last of Us, and Minecraft.
It's actually kind of crazy to see The Last of Us (which is the top selling list for both consoles) still selling so well three years after release.
