Hello Games has pushed out the newest large content update for their infamous open-universe space-sim No Man’s Sky. Titled Synthesis, NMS players can look forward to a swath of quality of life changes, new gear, game mechanics and more. You can read in detail about it in the developer blog post here.
Since its original launch way back in 2016, No Man’s Sky has experienced a rare comeback thanks to the developer’s massively reworking the title. It took years and several massive updates but NMS today is a significantly different – and more importantly – much better game than at launch. The turnaround among its players is also evident that Hello Games have redeemed themselves from overpromising and underdelivering on their original premise.
While previous updates added base building, third-person gameplay, radically improved multiplayer and virtual reality support, today’s Synthesis update is mainly focusing on making the general experience much more pleasant. Here are some highlights of the new update.
