No More Heroes: Travis Strikes Again was revealed on Nintendo's Nindies Showcase yesterday. Among a number of other indie games set to release on the Nintendo Switch, this title won the show.
Travis Strikes Again has Travis being confronted by The Bat, the father of one of his old enemies. Travis is seen playing another indie game, Hotline Miami when he gets attacked. Some weird, Suda51 craziness happens and the two of them get pulled into the game. This is where the premise truly starts.
In a partnership between Grasshopper Manufacture and various indie developers, Travis will visit six different games and beat the boss in each.
The original No More Heroes debuted nearly a decade ago in 2008 in the states, and even longer in Japan. The sequel, No More Heroes 2: Desperate Struggle released in 2010 on the Wii.
Travis Touchdown will return in No More Heroes: Travis Strikes Again exclusively on the Nintendo Switch in early 2018. Along with this, Shovel Knight: King of Cards and Super Meat Boy Forever were also revealed at the Nindies Showcase.
