No online multiplayer for Donkey Kong Country Returns 3D

Donkey Kong Country Returns 3D — a port of the Wii game to Nintendo's 3DS handheld — is not capable of online multiplayer. According to the listing on Nintendo's official site for the game, two copies of Donkey Kong Country Returns 3D and two 3DS systems will be required in order to play multiplayer, which supports two players via local wireless.

New to the game is New Mode, complete with ease-of-play enhancements and new items to help you during the game. Diddy and Donkey have increased hearts to take more of a beating, in addition to extra environmental objects to help them on their adventure.

Pre-order is coming soon, and the release date is releasing on May 24, 2013.
