No plans to bring Halo 5 or The Master Chief Collection to PC, says 343 Industries

343 Industries is listening to PC gamers, but right now the only plans they have are to bring Halo: The Master Chief Collection and 2015's Halo 5: Guardians to Xbox One.

"We're listening to the PC fans, but right now this is all focused on Xbox One," 343 Industires general manager Bonnie Ross told Eurogamer. That's not to say they couldn't be released for PC in the future though.

Xbox consoles have always been the home for the Halo franchise, but the series has seen some of its games released on PC. Halo: Combat Evolved came to PC in 2033, while Halo 2 arrived in 2007. On top of that, 343 Industries released Halo: Spartan Assault on Steam this year. So the history is there.

I've played both Combat Evolved and Spartan Assault on PC in the past, but for me the optimal Halo experience has always been on Xbox. I'm sure there will be some petition to port it to PC though.
