No release date in sight for The Elder Scrolls Online’s move to PS4, Xbox One

Bakc in early May we heard that The Elder Scrolls Online (TESO) was delayed due to "unique problems specific to those platforms." Fast forward to seven months later (today), where is Zenimax on bringing TESO to the Xbox One and PlayStation 4?

Seeing as TESO on the Xbox One and PS4 will not be a port to from the PC/Mac game there's a lot more work going into it than you thought.

The PC user interface has been removed and redisigned for a more console specific UI and voice chat has been added to the game. In a blog post the developers went in to more detail, stating "there's still some work to do before we can set an official launch date." The devs are looking to finish the Justice and Champion Systems prior to launch. The systems are still in development, but should add a huge amount of content (as well as new gameplay) to the game.

There should be more info on TESO's console launch in Early 2015, but until then the release date is 'to be announced.'
